Baton Rouge™ Dogwood | Cornus alba 'Minbat'
Plant description
Selected for its naturally compact, bushy habit and vivid red stems, Baton Rouge™ provides year-round interest in the landscape. White spring flowers are followed by white berries attractive to birds. Medium green foliage transforms to a brilliant reddish-purple hue in autumn. Bright red stems make a spectacular display in winter and maintain good color year round. Growers report Baton Rouge™ is much more canker and late season leaf spot resistant compared to other varieties. Selected as a sport of Cornus alba 'Elegantissima'. From Minier Nursery in France.
